daily sprout 436

Hands up how many of you have been caught out by a predictive text blunder?  You know you meant (ahem) to say something about your banker and it, erm changed to something different (Use your own imagination to work that out).  Well, that can be embarrassing and awkward depending on who received it.

but what is worse than predictive text blunders is 'predictive speech' blunders and this time it is not modern technology that is to blame.

In today's daily sprout  I talk about the fact that the way you talk about yourself or others.  I give an example in the video - 'It always happens.'  This could be something we say in response to a given situation or expectation of an outcome but look at the language. It's absolute and predictive - and could very easily be wrong.  Check out the video to learn more.

Keep an eye out for the next blog.
