Prepare for Sleep

Weekly Radish 42

Three snooze filled tips to get you set for better sleep

Sleep quality and improvement is as much about setting yourself up for sleep success as it is about how tired you feel.  In this week’s video I share three tips to help you prepare yourself for a more restful night’s sleep.

This video was inspired by my own recent sleep problems. I recently revisited how I prepare myself for sleep as i found myself feeling a little more anxious than normal, and less rested following sleep.  i have introduced an early morning walk as soon as i wake up.  I have found this to be one of the best things i’ve done not just for my sleep quality (counter-intuitively, you would think getting up earlier would rob me of more sleep) but for my sense of alertness, focus and ease during the day.  It’s also meant I felt a more natural ‘sleep pressure’ as bedtime approached.  Let me know what you think of this video and what you are going to try to improve your sleep.

Don't forget that I offer a number of free short courses (see the blog signature below) to help you build on this video content.  The coming week's I share more tips, but the additional content in the courses include some guided relaxations (the Facebook messenger course in particular).  Drop a comment below to let me know your thoughts, etc.

Keep an eye out for the next blog.
