FAQ - What is the 'It'll be Better When Phenomenon?'

 

In this short snippet from my appearance on Koast radio's Taboo show with Polly Brennan - Adventurous Coaching, I explain how it can be so easy to put life here and now on hold in order to reach a goal such as weight-loss. And the irony is when we do, this can become so much of a habit that, irrespective of whether we achieve the goal or not, we can default to not being present more often. I believe that when embarking on a goal, particlarly one that is likely to take us a long time, we need to learn to appreciate and be present to the process. This can be a win-win as we can then learn what works and what doesn't AND learn to enjoy life AS we move along the process.
