Calm amid the chaos?

How to find Calm amidst the chaos

It can be really tough to maintain a sense of control over yourself - your emotions and your rational faculties during the high stress situations.  You know, those times when you feel like it's all going wrong, you feel so out of control and all you can see is chaos?  What kinds of situations do you find yourself experiencing this?  As a former police officer, especially in my earlier days as a cop, I used to find this would happen a lot.  As my experience grew, I found a certain sense of fulfilment in arriving at a chaotic scene, such as a road traffic collision, and working to bring some semblance of order to it.  But I had to learn the hard way.  In today's daily sprout I share a strategy I found really useful. It's one that, whilst simple, is not easy.  But, with practice, can lead to you feeling more confident and in control of yourself during those really chaotic times.

Watch and let me know what you think in the comments.  For me, I have found this skill vital in more personal experiences.  Try to identify your 'certain ground' and remember to find that when you are in the midst of the chaos.
