Your 3 favourite weekly radish videos

Last Weekly Radish - 52

Let’s celebrate

In this week’s video, I bid farewell to the weekly radish with a celebration.  For now, this week, I want to take time out to celebrate.  Yes, celebrate.  Let’s be honest here, how often do we take some time out to celebrate the effort we put into life, work and projects?  So, I am practicing what I teach and having a party!  And this week I share your 3 favourite weekly radish videos.  If you missed them or others, check out the Weekly Radish Play list here.

So, go on what do you need to take time out to celebrate?   Share them with me at dave@stressedguru.com.

Oh, and if you are brave enough - create your own weekly radish video (no need for anything fancy) and share them with me - I will happily publish the best on my You Tube channel

Thank you so much for sticking with me over the past year.  I've enjoyed developing and filming these videos and learned a lot myself in the process.  Let me know what you think and, if you have any suggestions for future video content, let me know - dave@stressedguru.com

- It's week 52 of The Weekly Radish, a whole year. It's time to celebrate. It's time to celebrate for me personally because there's been a mammoth effort along with this and The Daily Sprout, and I think that's something we all need to do is recognise when you've put a lot of work into something, take time out to acknowledge and celebrate it rather than moving onto the next thing. But, I'm so excited to present your top three, your top three videos that you voted for, and there's some great suggestions in here, and some surprising ones. Let's go straight in at number three. We often live up to these other roles whether parent, partner, child, employee, manager, whatever these roles are, how often is it that we come back to the real true part of ourselves, our inner radish? And as well as that, how often do we take care of ourselves? That inner radish needs some nurturing. Just like any vegetable, it needs taking care of. I love the fact that this is in the top three. I enjoyed it making it and it makes an important point, so thank you for that. So let's move on to number two. What I want to focus on is the traps that we can fall into when we find ourselves struggling to cope with emotions. So I'm gonna look at two traps and offer an alternative way to look at how we can view emotional coping. I gotta be honest, I didn't expect that would come in anywhere in the top three, so it was lovely to see it and a good reminder for me, as well. Now for number one. Are you all ready? Don't think you can speak to me like that. Today three tips to help you overcome that inner critic that is talking to you like you're a piece of Now, here's the thing I want you to think about. What you're not being is compassionate to yourself. The fact is, you are fantastic. You are more than good enough. You have as much right as anybody else to be here and to be yourself. When we talk about nurturing the inner radish, it's about recognising that this inner radish is the real you and needs not just some nurturing, but some appreciation, some forgiveness, and some self-compassion, and also to be released a little bit, to allow a bit more of you into the world, and that starts by first of all, just being accepting and forgiving of yourself. So, there's your top three, and thank you so much for those of you who did participate with your comments, your votes, and your videos. Some great things there, and I've really enjoyed reviewing them. So even though The Weekly Radish is coming to an end, these videos are all available on my YouTube channel, on my Facebook page, and my blog at StressedGuru.com. So, go and revisit them, dig in when you need to, refresh and tap into some of the tools, strategies, tips, and reflections at any time you need them, but in the meantime I just wanna say thank you so much for being with me on this journey, for letting me share these thoughts and insights, and if you have any other questions or comments or ideas for future videos, maybe not Weekly Radish style, then please get in touch, dave@stressedguru.com. I'm always looking for new ideas on what I can share in terms of helping us develop this attitude towards putting our wellbeing first so that we can just be better human beings in terms of having a more enjoyable, fulfilling, and meaningful life.
