They are not winning now

Transcript from today's daily sprout:

They're not winning now.

Yesterday I reflected on the fact that there was more to life than stress. There was a time when stress and anxiety were winning over me. I'm not cured by a long shot. I'm a human being, and I've said before, permission to be human. I have my ups and downs. I have my emotional turmoils and my emotional highs, but now, stress is not winning. I'm winning. I have done the work, and I am doing the work to make sure that stress is in its place. That it's there as a signal for when I'm overdoing it, when I'm burning myself out, or to tell me I need to take some other action. But I've learned now to keep it in that place and to act positively on it, rather than letting it crush me. And you can, you really can, do the same. It takes work. It may be the hardest work you'll ever do. But ultimately, it is so so worth it.

Keep an eye out for the next blog.
